I am interested in getting an Eliminator 21 Daytona, but seem to be coming across a lot of outboard and I/O. I want to run a jet and was wondering if I got an outboard or I/O if it could be converted to a jet. If it is possible would the cost be outrageous? Thanks for the help...

whichever one u pick, just make sure the transom is solid...



u dont want to be doing this... trust me.  it was NOT fun.

the outboard will have a weird seat configuration, as theres more room cuz theres no motor.  so you'll have to deal with that.  while the I/O will be okay, you'll just need to cut out those motor boxes so u can get the motor dropped in lower.  not a big deal.  and obviously cut a giant rectangle into the floor and angle, set the intake, etc.  also realize that cutting a 2 1/4" transom is pretty tough.
