Alright so I currently have a 74 sleekcraft sporter I'm building but I just picked up a 76 charger both are 1/4 stringer boats both have Jacuzzi pumps but one Has the yj and one Has the wj here r some picks the first on is the charger second in my sleek

they look like identical boats... why'd u pick up the other boat?  more room in the interior?  any problems with your existing boat? 

The WJ is the better pump.

I would look closely at the floor and the condition of the bottom of the WJ Pumped (Charger?) boat.

If the floor and stringers are solid, and the bottom is free of hook or rocker, It should handle a ~500 HP big block.

My old Glenco, with 1/4 'engine' stringers, ran 72 gps'd with a WJ pump, no ride plate, shoe, loader, just a Place Diverter, spinning a jacuzzi 'b' at ~5200 r's.

The YJ can be outfitted with Berk style bowl and impeller...$$$

I would I like the charger but the floor needs to be replaced and I don't know How to do it or what it would cost to have it done

whats your price range??? ive got a 73 Howard Full stringer with a berk and trailer. Make me an offer. it was complete and got stolen. I got it back bare.
