sanger hulls?

Hello everyone. Im looking for a jet boat right now. I look the looks of barrel back transoms like rogers and sangers. Is a sanger a good hull to go fast compared to say an eliminator? Also i see that they have sprint bottoms and semi v bottoms, which should i look for? Thank you.

yes sanger is a very well made hull. as far as what you should be looking for that is going to depend what your looking to do with it.

Sanger super jets are very good and fast hulls, my opinion eliminaters don't compare to the Sanger super jet

Id like a fun lake boat for recreational use and some speed. Id like to do about 90 but i dont want to need 800 horsepower to do what 500 could do in another jet, same pump setup of course. Ive seen a tahiti with 460 horsepower hit 81 on gps with no shoe, ride plate or snoot but ive seen other jet boats do somewhere in the 80s with 700 horsepower. I like sangers and rogers because of their barrel back transom and i dont know of any other jet boats that have these.

a sanger will foot the bill just fine. cl has a ton of them you will just have to look around! you may also want to look at a miller!

Also most Super jets came with Berkeley 12 jg's in them which you can do a lot too

Your not going to do 90 mph with 500 HP.

A Superjet is not a 90mph boat imho.

Honestly I think 90 mph may be a bit ambitious.

If your serious about those numbers, look for full stringer, light lay up, non delta pad.

You may even consider going into a gull wing. That will get you into the mid 80's with reasonable horsepower.

And as always you can't miss with a tunnel hull.

Just my thoughts.

Hey GT i just dont think most people really know how fast 90 is in a boat! 60 usually scares the s--t out of most people. just saying

I'll never forget the first time we took my cousin for a ride in the race tunnel.

We thought the radios were screwed up.... No, he was too busy pissing his pants to answer us... That was only about 85 MPH..

In all fairness it was in skinny water and you could see the gravel just under the surface...
