bay area. thanks for the info. its got an olds in it I thought it was a BBC I have heard the Olds have oiling issues but I have seen alot of the olds/berk set ups any info on that? I have a great running BBC in my Tahiti but its hooked up 2 a panther maybe I can swap em. so anything  special to look for on the boat before i pick it up or at least go check it out. I'm gonna look around the keel and under the bow anything else?

check the stringers to bottom glass=if he would fill bottom in back with water and check for any leaks from bottom=check bulkhead under deck-this is not to major=

chevy or ford would be better=there are things you can do to olds oiling system to make it better-should be a thread on the site about it=do a search-
