Doesn't look like bubble deck to me.

Are you sure its an Eliminator ??  Right side of the transom will have a hull ID #, should start with ELB if its an Eliminator.

you're right Proppy, better look at it tells me it's not a bubble deck either, maybe a sprint?

Nope, not a Sprint.  The Sprints came later and had the cool Beismeyer deck (mine is not a Sprint either).  One time Greg Shoemaker told me there were 3 early hulls.   The semi vee (like mine),  the bubble deck,  and a deep V.  Looks like this one is the deep V (never seen pics of one before  :-\).

filterbiz, First off Welcome to the fun.  :banghead:  ;D

Second your Hull ID numbers should start off with ELB (Eliminator Boats) and the last 3 should be 74 (the year) and a letter. I think the letter was a month code.  Thats the way it is on all 3 of my Eliminators (2- 73s and 1- 83) .

Its a bit hard to tell in the pics but I dont think its one of the semi Vs and its not a Bubble deck so that only leaves the deep V (maybe there were others I dont know about).   The real expert on old Eliminators is Greg Shoemaker over on PB.  Send him some pics if you want, he will be able to tell you everything you mant to know.  He worked for Eliminator back then and probobly built it.  Heres a link to Gregs section over there,   http://www.performanceboats.com/html/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=23

The reason I say its not the semi V is because of the shape of the entry (the area under the bow that first touches the water), its looks way to deep, the semi Vs also had trim plates from the factory, and if you look at the pic of mine it it also has has a droped section along the top edge of the hull by the front seats.  The term deep V doesnt mean the hull is deep, its refers to the angle of the V, as you can see mine has verry little V.  The others had a more of a V and actualy work and ride better then mine.   Heres what mine looks like.

Looks like a pretty deep V to me! Comparatively to everyone elses. Looks almost a twin to my Saguaro bottom actually, from what I can tell, and from what Omar told me, is a Biesemeyer bottom, basically. (Though yours will have full stringers)

Ray

BTW, that's NOT a bad thing! While some of us pi$$ and moan about wakeboard boats and chop, you should be having a ball with that type of hull no matter what the water conditions are! Good find!
