Winter hornet project
« on: February 20, 2019, 07:27:16 PM »
Decided to flip the hornet, blueprint the bottom and do a full set back.   Also having a 557 BBF with a NOS fogger built to drop in.  Hopefully she’ll be in the 80s.   Anyone have any experience with the hornet hull?  Thanks

George Strirgel of Clay Smith Cam, splashed a mold off a Hornet and called it a Honker Craft. He went on to claim APBA and National Championship back in 70’s. He was running a Big Block Chevy with Hilborn Fuel Injection. Call him he’ll give all the scoop on the Hornet and his Honker Craft. 714-532-0530. His shop is in Buena Park.

Do a search from way back to the start of SCJB. I believe Ralph Brunt had a pink Hornet that he raced in Comp Jet. Ran pretty good I think.
