LMAO So I have been here two years and I think members have only mentioned currently owning a Wriedt. Blackbeard and I have the Queen Elizabeth version, and I think Brad's cuz or someone had a smaller one.
Then yesterday a SCJB rookie PM's me about buying one identical to the one I have! I'll find his name in a minute.
As for holding up well, every boat is a reflection of its ownership. Mine looks great for having over 600 hours, I think. The gel looks brand new with one or two "star" cracks only. The interior is all getting real "loose" when going thru rough water. Screws backing out, seat bases twisting a bit, that kind of thing. The builder is still in business, but moved from So Cal to Texas a long time ago. My rigging looks real good too, very clean. The carpet has held up well except for the shag on the underside of the deck (up above the disco mirror ball LOL).
But the best of boats don't hold up well to 40 years of neglect and/or abuse. I'm just sayin' . . .
