Save yourself the headache and just drain it into the bilge. Then capture it from the drain plug hole and wash out the rest. Then replace your pan plug with a valve that will allow you to connect a hose for future servicing. I purchased mine off Amazon, I think it was made by Fumoto and it is designed to work on engine oil pans. Just check the thread pitch and dimensions when ordering. 50w through the dipstick tube will be a nightmare even if the oil is warm, been there.
