Yep, just like tuck & roll each job is it's own animal, I know you used to be able to buy diamond tuck and t&r by the bolt, but it's been a long time since I've seen it for sale anywhere.

This was back in the 60's when most of you weren't around and our economy was booming.  Besides is was a good excuse for us kids to drive down and have some fun we couldn't do here in the States.

So where do we get killer chrome plating at? Mexico. You can still get everything in Mexico that you could get there years ago, you just need a passport now, which is ironic because that's where the US is getting it's money from (fee's, red tape, fines, taxes, etc...) instead of it's/our expertise and labor.

It's called NAFTA and free trade.     It's all red tape to go that way and a free ride if you sneak in from there.

So where did you get it done?

Some place here locally . He did my Bimini tops as well . All of his work is super tight . All the way around the seats and wood . No loose fabric anywhere .

Foam and fabric almost $300 each if I remember correctly. I think all together it was almost 1k .

Well, that's another thing to do this next winter.  I think I'll rattle can the areas that I have fixed, Magic eraser the seats I have now and then go enjoy it.  That is after I've made the minimum payment required on my credit card so I can buy some gas.  LMAO!!!    Just kidding about the credit card.  I've got lots of work to do around the house now and I just want to run the boat when I can.
