Hey everyone,
Recently acquired a '76 21' Hawaiian that is freshly painted and mostly ready to go except for the interior. I plan to purchase two bucket seats for the front from Overtons for about $170 each but would like to build the rear in some sort of bench seat fashion. I have an idea of making the bench seat to just sit right in front of the motor, for about 3 people, and making paneling for the sides, which i have the old ones so templates are not a problem, but I am not sure how to maximize seating and looks without dropping tons of money. I am open to any suggestions in switching or moving or doing anything different though. I am a youngin who unfortunately has not gotten to the top of my payscale yet so keeping it cheap is best, especially because I would love to take it out this season. Motor work I can do as well as carpentry, electrical, yada yada yada. But I thought Id ask you guys what your suggestions were when setting all of this up. I have seen some threads and most of the work here was amazing. First time owning a boat though and I want to make it look great but yet still work with a budget. I know you guys know what I mean! Thanks for all the help!!
