Don't forget to cut or drill air release holes and seal all exposed edges as well. 


Air Relaese Holes 

If you don't put holes in the bottom, through the wood, it'll be like sitting down on a balloon that doesn't give.  Makes for a hard seat, not to mention no where for water and moisture to vent out from.
