There are some threads about this very subject, but.....If the vinyl is dry and cracked, no bueno...

Must be supple and hydrated and super duper clean... Otherwise, works awesome, check out Sem, it is more of a dye than a paint because it literally soaks into the material on a molecular level.

Not that I am aware of...That would be cool though...The reason it gets dry and hard is because the polymers get bleached out of it (thanks to UVB rays), I can't think of any way to reintroduce them....
