It's time to fix this. Here's what I want to do. I want to reseal  the pump to transom without moving my pump.  I figured i can chip away and sand the remaining silicone. remove 1 bolt at a time and silicone the head portion of the bolt and reinstall bolt into pump and torque the bolt. What silicone or sealant should I use that's not to crazy where I can remove the pump in the future without damaging hull? Should my pump be flush against the transom? Or is that gap normal?  After siliconing the bolt heads how do I apply the silicone to make a nice thick bead thAt doesn't look like a hack job on the pump?  I will silicone the intake portion of pump underneath as well. Any tips to do this will be greatly appreciated . Thanks

The ge stuff is good just like bj said. When you go to buy it check the bottom of the tube, sometimes Hd and Lowes will get a old batch and the bottom plug will start pushing out and its no good. It will never cure.

There's always a batch date. Last case I bought had 12/13
