I think I made a bonehead move.. When I initially got my place diverter a year or so ago, I took off the bolt up Step-N-Trim Tabs that were on the boat and sold them.. Now after the other issue's I've been having (in another thread here), essentially rough ride and little porpoising I think that might have made mistake even though I have the diverter? Did I screw up and should I try to hunt down another pair? It's a 18' Sleekcraft Rebel (1981). There is no ride plate on the boat, although i will be putting on a loader (rock grate currently) and maybe a snoot..
They looked like these http://www.bigmouthboatsupply.com/1560501.html
Ifn' it were me, I would hold off on the droop, if you think it porpoises now

...I would get a loader or two and play around with them, I dont think those trim tabs are neccissary, look very carefully at the weight distribution (center of gravity) and where it runs best as far where the nozzle lever is (Notches up and so on), the right loader may help out with the porpoise, but the riding rough depends on why its doing so.
