Berkeley JG steering question
« on: February 27, 2017, 07:04:49 PM »
We just finished installing a JG split bowl with NO DIVERTER. While checking steering nozzle movement, I noticed that if turned all the eay to one side, the arm for FOR/REV hits the bowl and one of the bolts. Also, when turned completely to one side, it is far enough that the plastic ring seal is exposed and looks like some water will "leak" at nozzle. The cable is not connected to tiller arm yet because i  don't have the tube yet. Will these "issues" go away once the cable is hooked up? Or do o need to "clearance" the arm for FOR/REV at nozzle?

It looks like you have a nozzle from a jetovator. What's the cast number?

Right on the side somewhere.

That's as horrible adapter. Too chunky..
