what is the best bargain or value in pump upgrades? looking for bang for my buck?

Does it have a diverter . Is it a fresh rebuild . Does it have a dropp snoot . I like to start with a freshly rebuilt pump and then go from there . You can bolt shit to it all day and if it aint loading , pressurizing , and spitting correctly , you'll never get your "BANG" out of your "BUCK" I would say a manuel diverter is a jets best "BANG" under almost any circumstance .

it does have a diverter on it which i think is a place judging by the other place diverters that ive seen. not sure how long it has been since a pump rebuild is there one you would go with?

I have a place on both of my boats . IMO , I woud have the pump rebuilt , A fresh pump is always a good starting point along with a before and after GPS baseline MPH so you know how much your modifications have gained you . You just never know how much sand and rocks that pump has siffted through . I bought one on E-bay and the add said ready to run , I was going to have it redone anyways , sure as shit "ready to run" was the furthest thing from the truth . Thats just where I would start .
