Boat has a 27gal tank in the left rear of the boat. It does have "trim" and the boat will lift up out of the water pretty well when trimmed up.--Plus I have it adjusted to make the largest roost possible. As far as "stuff" in the boat, I only keep what I need,--life jackets, paddle, and 15lb anchor.--All required by law in WI. I usually keep a SMALL socket set, and a swiss army knife for minor repairs, but together, that all weighs about 2lbs. The boat may have some trapped water, but in a BAJA, everything including the entire floor is encased in fiberglass, so it is immpossible to find any water, unless I start cutting up the floor. My pump has a few issues, like a small leak in the front packing, and the impeller is knicked up a little bit. I dont know the condition of the wear ring/impeller gap. my trailer bunks are pretty bad, and the boat is old, so it is possible that the hull has developed a "HOOK" as well. So, in short, there is alot of room for improvment in my settup. All in all, the boat is running pretty well, but it would be nice to see 60 mph, just so I can say it will do it!
