That really looks good. What kind of sander did you use?
Believe it or not I started out useing a small belt sander

(80 grit), to shape the bowl. Than once the shape was right I switched to a DA sander (up to 320 grit), than hand sanded (wet) all the way to 1500
That looks good, my shit was polished at one time...........but i am seriously thinking of painting it
or PC.
2sav
Thats how mine looks now 2sav. I'll agree that the polished bowls need to be protected imediately . Otherwise , it PC for me . I already had one PC ,and after a quik wipe down it looks brand new . The polished stuff looks crazy killer though.......

You guys need to go clean you boats

, If it was polished once I would think it would be easy to get it back looking good again. Ive got a diverter that looks just like that, so when I get around to it I'll let you know what works the best (easy way) to make it shine again. Maybe just a quick wet sand and polish, I just used some compound and a 6in polishing wheel (from Lowes) on a drill. Than finished with some Mothers polish by hand. I did my Motorcycle (frame, wheels, etc, etc) over a year ago and it still looks good
