Any suggestions on repairing the threads in my JC bowl.
Previous owner really jacked up the threads on a couple. Would some Heli coils work? Any other suggestions would be cool
Also are the bolts put in with any antisieze. Trying to avoid future problems.

Ya you can use helicoils that will work, And try using studs instead of bolts this time around. Make sure the stud threads allll the way in and maybe even put some locktite and you will be fine.  I would also use a lock washer instead of a locking nut because when you take off a locking nut it might back out the stud from the bowl, with a lock washer you dont have to worry about the nut pulling out the stud. Hope that made sense, and thats just the way I would do it.

Judging by you regulars comments and some parts diagrams... it seems I don't have a JC bowl as the one I have a droop bolts on to it. Is it correct thinking. I can't read the part number on the bowl

Please excuse my confusing. Just learning this stuff.
The pump is definitely a JC. I assumed wrong that the rest was also. I do have a droop bolted to the bowl, so I guess my question is... does that make this something other than a JC bowl. I will post pics asap. Just trying to know what I have. Again sorry for my learning curve

My guess would be you have a b or g bowl ! JC bowls dont have the bolts on the end of the bowl to bolt a droop on to.  Ill post a pic of my b bowl in a sec

If you have a bolt pattern for your nozzle its a split bowl pump. ARS marine carries both the bowl bolts and nozzle bolts. The bowl bolts are 1/2-20 or 1/2-13 I believe and the nozzle bolts are 5/16-18
