Any body ever done this or tried ,Impeller stuck and don't want to cut it off got the bearing and race out ,now think just press new one in and go. 

I would not feel comfortable with it. But I guess if you can get everything to seat?  Have you tried a little heat on the impeller ?

I have used 50/50 Acetone and transmission fluid to get aluminum off of steel...Just don't use heat near the Acetone, they will be picking bits of you off the walls for weeks..   (it explodes)

Tried everthing except a chain and my 4x4 to pull it, heat,pullers,more heat new pullers (to replace the ones I broke) .Throwing tools ,kicking the dog ,Yelling at it after smashing my hand ,then drinking a 12 pack of bud and trying to stare if off,never budged.

Had to cut my impeller off with a saw zawl  Original from 1977

Chances are maybe the impeller is "dragging" the woodruff key with it (creating a chinese fingers effect) or... its simply "bonded to the pump shaft from time , corrosion etc , Please dont use heat ! worst case try to push out the shaft thru the bearing (with impeller attached) and use a press to remove the Impy from the shaft (then the "bitch" is getting the bearing out of the suction) Call me if you need help we do hundreds of jets a year and run into lots of curious "situations" Happy to help Tom 805 975 5155
