Was just curious if anyone knows of something other than the black accordion type seals for the control cables through the transom. Seems like I have to replace mine every season because they get hard and Crack in the seams and start leaking water through them. Any picks or info on what you've done would be great. Thanks

I picked up the strain relief for the 43bc cable. $15 . I'm still scared to drill a hole in the boat. Newbie I know. If you were going to install the diverter cable again would you use the  clamp/grommet that comes with the diverter in the usual spot to the upper left of the berkley transom plate? Or should I drill through the Berkley transom housing just to the left of the B , and use the stain releave. I read that I can tap the hole with 3/4 npt and that is the proper thread for the electrical connector. What should I put on the threads to seal? Don't want to screw this up. Getting excited about finally having it installed. Thanks for your help.
