Dominator Transom (cable routing)
« on: June 11, 2012, 06:12:03 AM »
Guys,

I'm just about ready to run my new Steering cable and forward reverse cable.  I have a new dominator transom cover as shown. I know the black connecter is for the forward reverse cable and the other for steering.  The question I have is how can the forward reverse cable at that location be routed correctly? With my berkley setup it went out the top of the transom cover.  Hope this makes sense.  Here are the pics I'm referring to.      thanks for all of your advice in advance.

Running the same Berkeley pump with that cover?  Shouldn't be a problem to run it through there, but might need a longer cable and more of a loop in it

Ray,

no sorry I should have mentioned that I'm running a new dominator 12s pump with a bronze impeller.  So I guess your saying the forward reverse cable will work from that position.  Looks like a major bend I guess.. Just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something here.

Thanks
