few quick questions
« on: July 15, 2012, 07:56:46 PM »
Well me and my buddy found out our boat hull is cracked all the way around the top, we have found another hull cheap and is really nice painted and just needs out motor. But how many diff pumps are there and how will I know if we can swap it out or if it will work with our motor. We are new to this just wanted some info so I know what to look for or at when we go look at this hull... thanks in advance

You need to post pics of the crack before you scrap a good hull.  If it goes all the way around it could be the parting line between the hull bottom and the deck cap.  It might just require a new rub rail to be good as new.

Now, if you find the hull is not usable and go forward with another boat... just about any jet you will find can be adapted to any engine you have currently or wish to install with just a few pieces.

Again, post pics of the next hull and hardware so we can help you evaluate it and hopefully keep you from wasting your money.

Yeah this is just plan b haha, it is separating where ur talking about. We are going to try and fix this first but if it was going to cost more than this other hull we were just going to get it.
