Title: Impeller problem
Post by: Hallettcruiser on October 07, 2017, 08:41:20 AM: Does anyone know why my impeller looks like it is falling apart? It's cracking or something on the blades down by the shafts and there are little pink holes in it also.

Severe cavitation burn... Time for an overhaul and a new impeller... Completely normal.

Yup...

From slipping impellers due to wear ring clearance and potentially a disturbance in front of the intake.

Yes...

LMAO.

Anytime the impeller pumps bubbles, it causes a small amount of damage like that. Sort of an accumulative thing.
