I don't think an inducer is "needed" for any boat, but it will perform better with an inducer installed into it. A firend of mine had an inducer installed and he said he definately noticed a positive difference.

I would talk to a pump guy first! Some say it helps holeshot but hurts top end and some say oppesite. The frien that it helped also has a VERY heavy boat with a stock engine. Call tom.

There is only one way to for know if an inducer will help or not . Buy one and try it ....

Back to inducers. Tom just put one in my pump. I thought they were supposed to help keep the pump loaded thruoghout, from the hole shot to wide open. Maybe Tom or Josh will give us some schoolen on the subject.
