The hole in the bottom of the boat for the YJ intake is larger than any Berk, so you have to start with a lot of fiberglass work.

Unless this hull is extra nice or has a long family history I would recommend finding another hull with a Berk already in place.

What crewchief said lol. If its a jacuzzi wj its not that bad of a job. But if its a yj hole its a big job. And then if its a golden eagle dont even think about it it lol.

Anyone know how much Work it is to go from jacuzzi yj to berk pump?

We've done dozens of these type conversion in nearly any imaginable combination (Drakes, Jacs, Vdrives, stern drives to jets) , all involve "grunt" work (grinding/glass work) and some engineering we have also built and modified, of them all the YJ or Panther to Berkeley is the most "challenging" If we can help you with Tech info, or "coaching" or general information  feel free to contact Josh or myself..... There was a trim made for the YJ (obsolete now) but not a actual Place Diverter a Place diverter can be added after an Energizer , or Xcelerator kits (mixed flow conversion) but not to a stock YJ Tom

Not all doom and gloom for your pump! If it's a Golden Eagle YJ, that's an insert pump and then all you need is a sawzall, balls to do the cutting and the berk parts to do a set-back deal. Minimal 'glass work there!
