I just purchased a 210 Hallett it has a 454 with a mercruiser just wondering who you all would recommend if I wanted to make it a Jet.

Don't want to be a Debby downer.... But why would you want to do that? For the amount of work time and money that's gonna need to go into it, You could have bought a nice jet. My .02 keep the mercruiser in it and sell the boat even though you just got it and buy a jet if that's what you really want.

A Hallett 210 is one of the best ridding 21 foot boats out there, do yourself a favor and don't mess with it.

I appreciate the comments and advice after thinking about it all day I think it is best to keep it the way it is.  I'll just put an aluminum prop on so if I do hit it's a better chance of not wrecking the lower unit.  It can get pretty shallow around my place on the lower river (Shaggytree).  I look forward to seeing all your good looking boats in a few weeks at the sand bar above aha quin for the regatta. Thanks again Ken

Does the boat have a depth gauge?
The reasons for running an aluminum prop is so you don't tear up the stainless if you hit something.

I agree with running an aluminum if you know it's going into shallows. It's easier on the drive unit too.

You can run 400hp through an aluminum with zero drama.

Beautiful boat.

If it does not have one, get one of these.
