Its a bone stock 460, so its not a power house. It has a dominator pump with an A impeller. Has a Place Diverter droop and a hydraulic diverter. It spins 42-4300 rpm at WOT.

Having never driven a stock boat, this is all new to me.

Im wondering if maybe it doesnt have the HP to use the droop? Was thinking about trying it without the droop

honestly that may happen. I feel bad because this is his first boat and he took my advice on buying it.

He has driven my boat, and i think he was expecting a bit more. Honestly i was too, but i have never driven a stock boat.

Im hoping i can get the thing dialed in a bit more for him so he enjoys it. He may sell it, but i dont want to burn him out on boats completely if that makes sense. If he can have a good time in this one on Labor day, then im happy.

He still may sell it and pick something up with some more power. But i want him to atleast enjoy what he has.

I think if it had another 50-100 hp it would be a completely different boat.
