Hey I just picked up this Daytona a few weeks ago. I am looking to get a place diverter for it. I need help identifying this pump. It's a Berkeley I'm pretty sure, just can't find any model numbers on it. The previous owner told me it was a larger bowl. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. That looks like the dominator that came in my boat. Mine happened to be serial number 20! Very early and no ribs on the suction housing. Nozzle looks the same. Make sure you get a Dom diverter or swap the droop. Dom steering oring diameter is a little larger. I haven't run mine yet but I think it's going to leak around the Teflon because I have a standard diverter.

I could be way wrong here but I think most if not all berk bowls have two oil fills on them that almost looks like my dominator bowl check the side of the suction housing it should say the brand on it

X3 on early Dominator. They are water lubricated not oil like a Berk.
If you measure the OD of the bowl it is a little bigger than a normal Berk.

Thanks for the quick replies fellas. My next question, is this a nice set up? I know it has had some work done to it, I can see a inducer impeller in there, looks like a aftermarket cone in there also. I plan on going through the whole boat in the winter, during that time rebuilding the pump if needed. This is my first jet boat so all this is a learning curve for me.

yes the dominator pumps are really strong the only thing I could see that you would want to add would be a diverter on it if it doesn't have one already but 👍on the boat congrats

It doesn't have a place diverter, that's my next purchase. My next question would be, hydraulic or manual diverter? Which do you guys feel is a better set up

Yes I know it has the calgo steering set up, will that affect which set up I will need for the diverter?
