Cut it off. (Saw'd Off !, lol) Reverse is over rated, and nearly useless with a rideplate anyway.Mine doesn't drag, but I don't have a droop, either, just a diverter and rideplate. Rideplate to reverse chute is nearly a foot on mine.Dan'l
My panther is similar to what you have (chute only obviously lol) I sharpened the leading edges of the chute. On mine it sorda scoops up and makes a lil roost. I obviously didn't really do it for any gains or anything, I was just messing around, after that and a couple other things I did notice slight improvements though.Sent from my iPhone using SoCal Jet Boats
You'd be surprised, my reverse works pretty good to be honest. I have a line on a stock one for cheap, so ill cut this one and see what happens
Steve at WOT your reverse bucket should be out of the water for the most part. I have seen this with big cruisers with a go pro video not just on the faster boats. Check into it before you kill your ability to have a reverse.

Use a leash on the go pro. I've watched mine at ~35 mph, and it is just out of the water. rear jump seats work good for that.I could see with a droop, it would be closer, and maybe drag some. Higher speeds less dragging? I don't know.Dan'l
