there is a lot of fab work.you need to remove your intake from your hull and have it machined and have some of your keel grinded down. its a huge job.
NO REGRET$ ... Arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics / no matter how good you do you're still retarded!!!!!
What are some other options? Maybe a little less labor and $ intensive?
They are all fukin tasty. My long time favorite, "Dirty Dicks -beerjet-
Glasscutter, Skip, OC2 Nordie and many more nail me good every time, relentlessly, I love those guys!
what are you trying to accomplish?
More performance without having to remove my intake to be machined or anything real extensive that could put my boat out of commision before the season even starts. What are the main benefits of a ride plate??
Send it to Jack. My dad just did and it cost $350 for the machine work, shoe, cradle & ride plate. If you look at jacks shoe and compare to anyone elses, you will know why he charges what he does. They are a work of art and are worth the money IMO.
is that installed? or is that just bringing the intake itself to him?
You're joking, right?
pw_Tony....would love to see some pics when you are done.
... didnt really think before i asked that question. you know what thats like, right?
... any thoughts?
Welcome to the club of broken boats Pay here$ bend over and move along.
Yes. When those pictures were taken I was 99 years old.Why does your ride plate get narrower?
