Anybody know anything about these pumps. Ugly and big but I'm digging the reverse manueverability. Check out the vid in the beginning and then jump to 4:26.   

I thought I remembered several years ago reading about Mercury or Mercruiser making a pump with  a similarly shaped reverse mechanism. I think it was in Popular Science or something and they were really high on it. After last weekend when the wind was blowing crossways to my trailer and I was looking like a big azzzz I would really like to try something like this.

Yes I have two what would you like to know? They are Axil flow move huge volumes of water at low pressure. Will out run any pressure pump to the eightys then runs out of legs Price here in the states is a bit steep you will find. Only one importer here in the states

Been here a while Just dont come out from under my rock to often. What kind of info are you looking for? The Scott is much like a Hamilton just major advancements in all aspects. Scott makes parts for some of the hamiltons but the true Scott will not interchage. The pumps I have are 3 stage 8 1/2 inch units. The recovery time from massive cavitation is instant. Slight cavitation is almost unoticed due to the axil flows ability to digest air. With our mixed flow or presure (if you prefer) pumps you can only select from the basicly two pitches in the impeller. I do not know if the Agressor is a diferant pitch but understand that Dave has worked on several. Dave at AMT released a high helix this year. With the scott you can have any pitch. I run three diferant pitches one in each section. The idea is to acelerate the water a little bit in each section. In our pressure pump it cannot be done as this creates cavition from one section to the next. The are used in most jet sprints and many river boats like the vid shows. Buy the way the builder of that boat (RMR) is one of the most knowlegable cutting edge jet boat people in the country both race and play. They have proven to be a best choice for the hard core white water recreational boater. Due to the fact that they still provide thrust in the foam and will process a lot of rock.

Aggressor has a couple things up their sleeve that everyone will be excited about by the beginning of next season...... Just keep an eye out.

That Scott is pretty cool looking, and can attest to bottom feeders claims about the axial. The axial is a great pump if you're chewing up rocks and such, seen one munch up 12 feet of tow rope and still keep going with the rope in it. Not recommended...
