Forgive me I am a newb at setbacks. I am wondering if anybody has a step by step article with pics. I have viewed the Berk library of PDFs for the cut out. I want to do a set back that had a mercruiser in it, so it is a virgin floor. It is a semi v hull, more of a v than semi. I have the Berk V intake all cleaned up and fins repaired as well. See fin repair post on how I did it. I want to machine for a shoe and ride plate first as well. My main concern is breaking through the floor and the lower transom corner area. I know I have to make my own transom plate. I will be putting the hand hole outside the hull. How do you seal this area where the corner meets the floor. I think I am completely lost when it comes to this. I can machine and make a lot of parts and can TIG aluminum fairly well so that is not an issue. Also where do I now put the drain plug.
Thanks.
