Does anyone have an easy solution to removing old silicone?
-
Pamela Anderson would be the best person to ask about silicone ;D
Try clean new razor blades and soapy water
-
IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO REMOVE IT FROM! A WIRE BRUSH ON A DRILL WITH LIGHT PRESSURE WORKS GREAT FOR REMOVING IT FROM STEEL OR ALUMINUM (BE CAREFULL WITH ALUMINUM). i'VE ALSO USED GASOLINE ON A RAG (WEAR GLOVES) ;D
-
All I can say is DOW CORNINGĀ® 3527 silicone release agent... just falls off ;D
but clean up well if you want anything to stick again :D :D :D

GAW- I used "Goof Off" it's an adhesive removal you can buy @ Home Cheapo, once you get the majority of the sillycorn off, you can use goof off for the film that's left.
