Anyway so i been thinking about the nordic project lately and how its got that pos omc hanging off the back, and im thinking i want to convert...I want to go ahead and put a berk in it, but im still thinking its going to keep the small block in it, and since the small block is a 385 stroker, and the pistons are 10cc dished im thinking about putting a huffer on it...now my questions are how much would the conversion cost me, and what pump/impeller size to run, and tons of other questions i just cannot trust the omc with even a 400hp motor...i know that the bottum end on this motor is stout and can hold down some power "terry knows too"...any suggestions opinions and estimates and places of buisness would all be great starts for me thanks guys..i know that the fiberglass work would be alot of work because omc makes a big friggen hole in the transom, unless there is an adapter out there made for it, also would like the pump to be setback

i think that i can put some nasty power through this small block and have it hold up and still be reliable im thinking 550 range would make me comfy i want it to be turn key and reliable and the omc is not going to do that for me time for me to wake up and smell the roses i guess im willing to do the rail kit...i have access to a water jet so im thinking about having it made up nice...also the block is the high nickle and tin content block if that means anything

bring it over I got a chainsaw, we can make that hole as big as ya want!! Nah, but prolly slow the boat down. How 'bout a nice V-drive?  . Seriously, we would neet o shitcan all that movable engine mount stuff an get some plates, clean that whole deal up....lets look at it!?

i beleive the top dog for omc stringer was 270hp and it is an unreliable pos and parts are way more coin then a jet...i just dont feel it i could only imagine how much weight i will be saving as well...i think i will be putting both outdrives up for sale soon...also a 4 bolt main sbc 010 block msd hei other misc bs

also the tilt mechanism with the clutch deal is no bueno...mine works great then halfway through the day it wont work anymore...the motor will not be an under rated small block pushing the jet so im hoping for some good speed...idk how everyone elses nordic buble deckss are but mine is pretty thin and light...this transfer will happen its gonna be a while though
