I upgraded my motor situation this year and I’m feeling a little “loose” when I’m mashing on it for more than a few seconds. Boat is pretty flat, perhaps this plate on the bottom needs adjusting???
Help!! I don’t want to fly

Explain loose and flat on more detail.

Feels like the back could break loose side to side at speed. The boat has very little draft is all I meant by it being somewhat flat.

Do you have a rudder attached?

I do not, but I’m already putting feelers out for one... I think I need a large for a place diverter!?!

I don’t think you need the large one. I have the smaller version and it works fine. Personal preference I suppose.

First, a rudder won't help your situation.
You have what's called an insert pump. I don't have much experience with them, but I know the ride plate setup is crucial for making the boat handle correctly.
Do you have anymore pics of the ride plate?

Looks like your "ride plate" has too much down. It should angle up towards the rear, relative to straight part of the keel, just in front of the opening. Try starting with 4-degrees. Beautiful rig by the way.
