Sounds more like an air pocket in the pump. Its fairly normal for some boats. Some times it takes a minute for the pump the clear out the trapped air. If its a big problem for you there is a small bleeder valve that you can add to the top of the bowl (prime a jet) that helps get the air pocket out. ;)x-2(rivertard).
