Well I have a pump with some out of the ordinary stuff and I figured someone on here must know what I got. I'd appreciate it greatly if one or more of you can enlighten me. The pump is a Berkeley JB(not a split bowl) with a strange Berkeley diverter that I've been told is not a Jetovator. It has a dual steering cable setup and large low profile rudder that I assume is for River Racing. The impellar is stainless, but I do not know the cut. The trim is operated by a cable that comes through the bottom of the transom housing and attaches to the rudder. The pump seems to be in fine working order with no problems that I can detect.
Here's what I'd like to know:
1. Has anyone seen this diverter before? What is it called? Is there any demand for it? How would the cable be setup if the rudder was to be eliminated? (I am assuming this is a rudder designed specifically for river racing) Are parts available for this diverter?
2. Do you think there is anyone out there who would be interested in this steering setup, rudder, etc? I would like to find someone who could put them to use rather than throw them in the scrap pile.
3. I don't really need this pump. Would it be easier to find someone who wants the whole thing or part it out. There seems to be a lot of good parts here (Shaft, stainless impeller, housings, etc.)
