I'm going to stay at the very south end of the lake (Parker) - anyone gone out via 10 then the 62 straight to parker? How does that compare to the 10 to AZ 95 and going north?

Cool thanks for the 411...

My plan is to 10 East to Quartside AZ 95 North

I know some go through ehrenberg and the indian reservation (AZ 1) - my mom says she remembers that way is 45 mph all the way to parker which doesn't appeal to me if true....

Is my way OK? This will be my first time driving to parker, I have been doing the 40 to lake havasu city.

You should be fine I went that way last year when I went to Parker.  You just have to watch out when it rains the 95 get washed out some times.

I go this way about half of the time and its not that bad.  Its 55 most of the way and a couple 45-35mph zones.  You can run 65 most of the way without problem, just slow down a little through towns.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I went out the 10 to AZ 95 aver a big caltrans sign said MAJOR DELAYS off of rice road.

There was a flash flood going on when I went - if anyone sees a flair on the side of the road - slow down. Going through a roaring 2 foot deep wash at 65+ with a boat in tow was hairy! Thank God for lifted full time 4x4 tow vehicles (my jeep grand cherokee). Pulled me through again....

from the oc, 22 - 55 - 91 - 15 - 60 - 10 - 177 - Rice.    Watch the first 10 - 15 miles out of 177, often CHP.  If you go to Havi (north side) just as quick to take the 15 up...

Yeah that road is Bad period a storm makes it that much worse.

I used to work at the  Vidal junction chevron back in the 80's  ;D  Friday nights during the summer were a blast lots of trafic and boats . It looked like a parade sometimes..
Watch out for the shoulder  its soft and if you hit it just right. the shit's gonna hit the fan.. Our tow truck was busy back then ,probably still is. alot of rollover's and most of em were the lifted toyotas.

Remember i said the eighties ;D
