My family has been going there for 20+ years with its ups and downs with different ownerships. Although I did not get out there all but once last season, it seems like good people running it now. Everyone I've met has been cool. Good family atmosphere if that's what your looking for. The channel needs to dredged, but most likely not gonna happen. I've been told it's some kind of bird habitat. Hope this helps 🚤💦💦

Thanks it does help.  Is there a place to tie the boats out out of the current in the channel?   How is the crowds in the area?

There's a day beach and a beach on the other side of the lagoon. I've never stayed there but from what i hear it's really mellow at night there.

Ive been there a couple of times with Sevans01

its a nice place, has a pool. Real mellow at night (with some exceptions)

The channel IMO is useless, (but i have an IO). the water levels flucutate so much in Blythe that i wouldnt leave my stuff in the water over night.

The outlet from the launch to the river has a gravel/sand bar that goes across so need to watch out for that. Ive seen people just walk their boats out to the river then fire up and go out.

Other than the crappy canal/lagoon its a real nice  place.

I believe that they will even offer to launch you with their truck but dont quote me on that.

Also to my knowledge only place in blythe to get fuel on the water. and its 93 octane

the good thing is that if the water is to low to launch at riviera, just take a drive to mcyntire and launch there

They do have a launch service free of charge.

Both beaches fill up quick if you wanna stay within walking distance, claim your spot early.
They're a few folks who leave their boats in the water mainly on the east side of the lagoon.

I stayed out there for the southwind regatta, we loved it, the lagoon is a lil mucky but not bad, I liked enough to want to set up a trailer there this season👍👍

it's still doing great bro, gonna make a couple improvements before summer if the boss (wifey) allows lol, after the coming season I think I'll be doin a pump swap but we'll see. If I'm still enjoying it as much as I have and it ain't broke then I may put it off for a while longer. With that said, I'm still in love.. Lol👌👍

Yeah I was thinking the same when I had it but with the HP it has now the pump worked well. Have you ever GPS the boat to see what it does. Watch the projects they sure seem to grow pretty quick. I'm in the middle of a huge one now and the time and money has been crazy. Don't get me wrong it's been a good thing so far just hard to part with another 10 grand. Hope to see you out a Blythe this year maybe Tom Papp.

We'll definitely hook up in blythe or elsinore for sure, I gps'd it once with me, my buddy who's not small lol and I'm not skinny either, 2 ice chests full of beer and full of fuel and hit 63, out at blythe I took everything out and about out of gas and by myself and got 71.3, I couldn't believe it so I did a few more hot laps, all pretty much dead on. Everyone talks the shit on panthers(I used to too) but that boat is a crazy match of pump and power I guess.

Sorry hit wrong button I would just run that pump 70 mph is good for a river cruiser. When you start wanting more then 70 mph a lot will have change. I went that route now we have a tritoon and river racer not much of family boat. I new this going in and was going to keep the boat you have.
