I ran open exhaust on my boat for a year with no problems. I only put mufflers on so I could talk to my gf while running.

I'm all for launching from Fishers and going up to the second sandbar. It's about 3-5 miles upriver past the "no ski upriver" buoys. I can get out there early and start setting up?

Fisher's so much easier (and free). Martinez is all jacked up right now, plus ramp is steeper.

August will give a whole lot of time for some of you ladies to sign up and then back out. I'm trying to picture a hotel take over at Big River. They only have like 20 rooms in that hole but damn we could rock that place! Mmmmm Earthquake Cake ... That would be an EPIC weekend.

Question: How do you guys keep your boats tied up on the beach? The current is so fast mine always want to float away.

I have the small box anchor and it'll hold up a 24'er or so they say . Worth it's weight in gold . Bought it with the bag from Rexie .
