I might have to flake out. I just took a temporary promotional position at work so I will loose my weekends off :( . I start August 4th. But I will get 5% extra pay for it  ;D can you say boat parts!!! hehehe  ;D I also might be able to come out for a couple of hours each day before or after shift  :-\

So where is the location? Martinez or Big River or ???

If I get my motor done in time, I will be at Big River that weekend. There will be lots of fast boats there that weekend. They are having the 2nd annual unofficial CP Regatta that weekend. You don't need a CP to go either.

The low river rendezvous is set for martinez lake. you can call martinez lake resort and see if they still have rooms avaible.

California Performance boats, basically lots of 100+ MPH boats. CP  are gullwing boats similar to the TX-19.

never been to martinez either. would like to check it out someday but not that weekend.
