Whats up with the guy saying martinez is to choppy? The only water he has probably seen is the green turtle pond in his back yard. The lower end of the river is one the smoothest I've been at. BEATS the chop you get at laughlin,havasu, and parker.....if you have a jet or v.This place has lakes ,streams, sandbars,beaches,artifacts,and most of all its not commercialized. Its a great place to see the same great people who have kept it that way.

i might be able to make this. my boat is almost done. one more side of the exhaust to do, then cam break in. then reinstall all interior and driveshaft. i would love to meet up with a bunch of you guys. i used to be stationed in yuma so i have not been to that lake in years. but we used to rent those cabins all the time.

anyway i wont make any definate plans but dont be suprised if i am there with my boat and a tent..

so just so i am clear it is lake martinez on the weekend of aug 16th. correct?
