the memorial day wrap up.. maybe nws
« on: May 30, 2007, 08:49:17 PM »
well i will tell the storey first. meet with fast ass ford and crew. got wasted on thurs. beached the boat and stayed at their place. i woke up the next morning water was a little low but i thought i was cool. on the way home i blast a mid river bolder and put a 6 inch by one inch hole in the bottem of my boat. it sank in the lagoon just out side of my camp ground.

i get some help bailing it out get it floating again and get it out of the river. i did all the work to get the water out of the motor and start fibrglassing. get everything done and i am back on the water on sat.

i let the boat sit in the water sat for a couple hours and no leaks. so i take off down the river. then the engine stalls. i look behine me and low and behold the ship is going down again. the back is full of water and the motor wont start. so i switch on the bilge and the water is actually going back in the river. so i am thinking the leak is not that bad. then i notice one of my water lines to the headers is off. so i actually pumped the water into the boat. let the bilge run and all was well.

sunday i hook up the innertube and pull some friends around. we get to where we were going and i pop the engine cover and i see about 8 quarts of oil in the bottem of the boat. i was like what now!!! i blew the dip stick out and oil came from there. so i got that all cleaned up and pulled the boat out of the water.

so as it sits now i need to change the oil, oil pressure sending unit, and altenator. oh ya also the brand new amp that i had in my boat for maybe 8 hours got submerged in my little sinking accident. so that sucked.

anyway that is the story of the aquaholic for the weekend. but that was just the minor bad things. the weekend was fucking awsome so here are some pics. that i know all will enjoy.

Wow that'a alot of stuff to happen in a weekend... Most would of went home after the whole sinking ordeal. Good job keeping the fun going and getting the repairs done quickly. That boat has come a long way.
For parts I would call Tom at JetboatPerformance he has tons of stuff and will beat anyone's price and has alot if used stuff for good deals

Look up perseverance in the dictionary and I think we'll see a picture of Aquaholic.

On Monday we came back from NM via Phoenix so after passing Blythe I started looking for the Aquaholic; never spotted you.
