were you looking for a complete set of IDAs....carbs, manifolds, linkage....etc.  or just carbs.  also, isnt there an italian version and a .... newer version?  ( thought i was told italians work better).

Well said. I haven't heard much good on the third progression hole. Some say Carb is ruined at that point being originally a race Carb.   Maybe they're picky. I still have a couple of trees to shake. See if a set falls down. 800$ is what I've been hearing for good used set.  I'll keep you posted homes.

I'm familiar with what it does. That's just the verdicts of some old school be racer guys. You know the ones.....most of them have super pretty cars with 22-2300 something, usually together as a club at the classic. 

I've never had IDAs.... so I can't speak for myself.  Good luck with search.

exactly!  real fast (11s or quicker), real pretty....driven once a month...maybe....to the meets haha.  my neighbor belongs to DKP.  Hes on the fence about third hole....has heard good and bad.  another guy, you may have seen on youtube in a early black bug doing donuts...show casing the quaife limited slip(mark herbert), he had 2275 in that car with IDAs...  old school street racer, preferred the two hole (dont we all ) for racing....but was ok with third hole for streetability(if done right).  this guy also had the car known as the super shit box.  basically a tin can with a beast under the decklid.  pretty quick, spare all expenses on looks. car sold to someone in england.
