I bought the cover new in a box for $250 then paid $670 for the scissor hardware and gas shock combo.

It was pricey, but the shocks being up front allow it to open a bit higher and not have a strut in the way on the sides when its open.

That won't buy one bare hinge with no strut from Gaylord's. Paint is perfect and as you can see black looks fine on different color trucks.

I just bought a McWelco lumber rack and I'm not takin this cover off until I can transplant it into someone else's.
