Thanks again guys for the info. Another question by flipping the valve covers to get the breather in the front, I would need to get a longer hose for the other side to connect to the carb I would assume?
I agree, GT. Just getting him to understand some basics he can familiarize himself with.
Carbs are fairly basic but you have to know what the parts of them are and how they work in relation to each other to find a solution.
Is that a flame arrestor or filter? I'd assume it's an arrestor since it's an enclosed motor.Arrestor. It's just the camera
Maybe it's just the camera but that thing looks caked with junk. Pull it off and clean it.
The black plastic piece stamped with "Holley" can turn clockwise or counterclockwise if you loosen the three screws on the housing.Ok cool I will start with that and switch the valve covers. Thanks
See the hash marks just behind the black plastic? There should be an index mark on the top of that choke housing to line it up with those hash marks.
Make sure it's not too far out of adjustment. It's not likely to be your issue but even a broken clock is right twice a day. Just something to check.

This little thing i circled with the wires going to it.I can't see anything to adjust. One of the wire sits a little loose.
