Thanks .. I'm going to need seats to .  I want to get the fiberglass bucket front and rear with them already upholsterd ..   But I have been unable to find them on the Internet to order  :banghead:

 I have already  restored the trailer

I have sanded sealed and painted the upside of the boat .. It's ready to paint

I have got a new project .. I  figured this would be the best place to get  advice .. I have never owned a tunnel boat so I'm not sure what to  expect  .. Ride ? How low It will sit in the water ?  Turning ? .. That kind of stuff lol

Do I need to double that up on the stringers ?? I'm using 6.56 oz woven mat . I've put 4 layers on the transom .

Yes the engine runs well . I ran it in the 11 or 12 second class . Had to run the nitrous hard to compete in the 11 second class . I'm thinking for trying something different . The inducer with an A impeller . But I'm not sure if the inducer will help on the top end or only on the bottom end ... Thanks

This is the engine I'm going to run . I had this engine in a 18 ft hallet . I had a AA impeller . The boat did low 70s and did low 80s on nitrous at Dexter reservoir in Oregon ( COLUMBIA DRAG BOAT ASSOCIATION  ) Would hold Quartermile bracket racing there .This is a smaller boat so will see .. Can any one tell me what  an inducer with a A impeller would be like ? Does the inducer do anything for top end speed . This engine would spin the AA impeller 5100 and on nitrous 6200  ,,, thanks

I found this stuff ( Heavy Duty Sea Goin' Poxy Putty - 12 oz / 1/2 pint ) from http://www.cpperformance.com/p-14693-heavy-duty-sea-goin-poxy-putty-12-oz-12-pint.aspx . Can some one tell me if 1/2 pint is enuf or should a buy more ... Thanks

Thanks for the help . I do not have anyone local to help . I'll have to give it a try . I searched the forum and didn't see any posts on setting the intake . If I mist a post can some one point me in the right direction or give me some info on how to set the intake ...  The boat is not on the trailer . I have it on blocks as straight and level as possible ..  Here's some pics

I will give that a try . I had to pul out the pump intake to get to the transom . Do you know what type of glue I will need when I reinstall the intake .. Thanks

Thanks for the reply . So did u use the Epoxy resins ?? Iv also heard of using polyester resin and adding wax on the last layer so it will Harding .. Thanks for a manufacture name of resin to use . I guess a better way of asking my question is .. polyester resin , Epoxy resin . ????  What type is best .. Or dose it matter ... Thanks

Hellooo . I'm new to your forums . I'm in the process of replacing stringers and transom . This boat had 1/4 stringer . I plan on installing full stringer . Is there a preferred Fiberglas resin I should use on a job like this .. Thanks ...
