Yeah I'm going bend some brake lines this weekend and weld them in the primary tubes.this boat is turning into the ultament rig job. How far are your headers from the sides of your hull?

Well I added water to the tips before the baffles. Is quieter but still getting to hot. Anyone selling some cheap logs for a sbc?

My18ft cee bee avenger tops out at 4800rpm. Jc pump, place diverter, stock rock grate, not sure on the impeller. Was told the engine is a stock 460. Has roller rockers, Holley 750dp mechanical secondary's billet msd ignition.  Maybe your tach is off. Maybe the loader grate is overloading the pump a little.

has anyone ever ran a dry header with water injected just before the baffle? Not into the primary tubes. I'm trying to cool and quite the exhaust some what. Basically I want to weld in a fitting at the beginning of the collector. Also conserned that water may flow back into the engine at shut down. Engine is just a stock 350.

I put 6 quarts of Lucas marine 20-50. Only showed a little over the full mark. So I don't know if I just had a brain fart that day or what. I've had no problems running 6 quarts

Easier to find BBC headers and use adaptors to BBF. I wonder why there isn't more company's that sell jacketed headers and why they are so expensive.

Dipstick shows full with only 3.5 quarts. I've search around the web for sometime only to find most stock front sump pans hold 5-6 quarts. I even pulled the oil drive plug to make sure it was empty. I'm thinking i must have the wrong dip stick? Does anyone have a dipstick that goes through the timing cover they could measure? Mine is 17-1/2" long and the full mark is 2-1/4" from the end.

Thanks
