My buddy ran in his sbc powered rogers, the old school logs with the ot header pipes, then split the out water between the collector (at about 8" back from the outlet) and an overboard dump. Not saying this is the end all be all setup, but it worked since the boat was first rigged and did double duty as a circle boat in the 70's and river boat... only thing he changed was added a bassett t valve in. Thing was pretty quiet with the mufflers in... and ran remarkably well for a 327sbc... but then the boat is stupid light.
